What is line rental?
Line rental is the monthly charge you pay to the provider of your telephone line. For a BT line, this is normally BT, but now you can transfer your line rental to Cyta UK and enjoy all the benefits of cyta.talk and cyta home line rental with one monthly bill.
What are the benefits of transferring my line rental to Cyta UK?
Firstly, you will make savings on your Line Rental and you won't get any more bills from BT - both your line rental and your cyta.talk package will be on one monthly bill from Cyta UK. You can transfer all your existing BT line features such as Answer phone 1571, 1471, caller display and add new line features with Cyta UK.
How much will it cost?
Transferring your line rental to Cyta UK won't cost anything, and the monthly line rental charge is just £10.52. Cyta UK can also offer competitively priced line features such as caller display and call diversion - please see our line features for more details.
Will I be able to keep my number and features, such as 1471?
Yes, your phone number and all your line features will be transferred, and once your line rental transfer is complete, you can also speak to us to change your line features. Remember that if you use any PIN-based line features, you will need a new PIN, and you will lose any voicemail messages you had saved.
Will I still get bills from BT?
Once you've transferred your line rental to Cyta UK, BT will no longer bill you for it. Cyta UK will be your single point of contact for bills and any problem with your phone line.
What if I need a new Line?
Cyta UK can arrange to install your new line and it will cost less compared to BT. If a recently deactivated line is available in your property and all the wiring is intact there will be no charge, otherwise the new line installation charge will be £97.75 (BT charge £122.33).
Will I be forced to sign a contract for 12 or 18 months?
Unlike BT or other line providers, all we ask, is to give us 30 days notice should you need to stop your Cyta Home Line. |
